James Rooney

Chief Executive Officer, Lead Consultant and Founder

James is a Beaucastle Rooney founder and is the current Chief Executive Officer and Lead Consultant of the business. He graduated from the University of Glasgow School of Law with both an LL.B Honours and a Diploma in Professional Legal Practice. James is currently on course to achieve a distinction in his Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of York, which he is scheduled to attain early in 2027.

Following university James joined Systech Infrastructure as a paralegal, then moved into a consultant role in their London Office. After a year in London, James moved to Canada to work on the Metrolinx Infrastructure project described under the “Projects” page.

Upon returning to the UK in the summer of 2024 James decided it was time to establish his own consultancy, giving birth to Beaucastle Rooney.
